I have always been fascinated with technology innovation and its effect on humanity and society. During the past 15 years I’ve worked with startups, nonprofits, and enterprise clients, built and secured infrastructure, architected databases and APIs, and helped organisations rethink how they work.
As co-founder and director I was Head of DevSecOps and CCO at Haystack, a privacy-conscious contacts platform, software developer, and designer.
I’ve also taken on short-term consulting engagements for early-stage startups and nonprofits looking for intentional, lasting change.
Off the clock, I’m deeply engaged and active in the open-source community and the deep dilemmas around AI.

Worked with the biggest retail corporations in the world, including Walmart, Target, Overstock.com, Ann Summers, John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Waitrose, ASDA, and more, leading development teams through the process of integrating RichRelevance products. The role required rapid assimilation of clients’ development structure and processes, specialised knowledge of consumer behaviour and big data, and building trust to ensure ongoing engagement and product satisfaction.

Digital Transformation Consultant
East Jerusalem based NGO providing free legal aid to Palestinians living under Israeli occupation.
Led HaMoked through a digital transformation process to help manage a high workload by removing old processes and adopting new technologies and methodologies: reviewing previous practices and existing data, researching and executing a new digital system, developing training and migration plans, integrating legal and privacy requirements into better processes, and managing third-party partners.

The RSPCA provides an invaluable service, taking in any animal in need, then working to rehome domesticated animals and release native species back into the wild.

Beyond the day job, I’m a trained gelato chef and the owner of a quinta in central Portugal, where I farm olives as an enthusiastic amateur. I’m drawn to technology trends and open-source advocacy, care deeply about animal welfare, sustainability and regeneration, and spend my downtime hiking, scuba-diving, writing, and watching films.
